Format
Size
You bring the market insight, we bring the formula, the design and the factory — everything it takes to turn an idea into a product on the shelf.
With OEM you bring us a finished recipe and we manufacture it. With ODM you bring us a market opportunity — a category, a price point, a consumer — and our R&D team develops the formula, the flavour profile and the packaging concept from scratch. You skip the lengthy development phase and focus on branding and distribution.
Ownership is agreed in writing before development starts, so there are no surprises later. A formula created specifically to your brief can be assigned to you outright, or licensed exclusively to you within an agreed territory and period. Formulas adapted from our existing library stay with RITA, but we can still grant you market exclusivity.
Typically 30 to 60 days from brief to approved sample, depending on how far the concept sits from anything we already produce. A new flavour built on a familiar base moves quickly; a new functional ingredient needs stability and shelf-life testing before we will put it on a line. Mass production then follows the same schedule as an OEM run.
Yes. Exclusivity is normally granted per territory against an agreed annual volume, which protects your investment in launching the product without locking up a formula that is not being sold. The terms are set out in the development agreement, not negotiated after the fact.
That is part of the ODM service. Our design team proposes packaging formats, label concepts and artwork alongside the formula, so the product and the pack are developed together rather than one being forced to fit the other. Every version is checked against the labelling rules of your destination market before print.
As with OEM, we generally quote one 20ft container per SKU — around 24,000 cans or 19,000 PET bottles for the most common sizes. Because ODM carries development work up front, we will discuss volume expectations early so the project makes commercial sense for both sides.
Often the fastest route to launch. We can adjust sweetness, acidity, ingredient declarations or format on a proven formula to suit local taste and regulation, then relabel it entirely under your brand. Development time drops sharply because the base has already passed stability and shelf-life testing.
